ABOUT THE CANDIDATES FORUM: The 2012 Reston Candidates Forum for Congress is hosted by Reston Impact and the Reston Citizens Association. Asking the questions will be Alex McVeigh of Connection Newspapers, Steve Cahill of the Fairfax Times, and William Callahan of Patch.com. The forum will be moderated by Colin Mills, President of the Reston Citizens Association, and John Lovass, host of Reston Impact.

ABOUT COLONEL PERKINS: Chris Perkins is a small businessman, retired U.S. Army Colonel and a former Green Beret. While in the Army, Colonel Perkins commanded troops on missions in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Colonel Perkins has also served as a military liaison to Congress and consultant to the U.S. Coast Guard. Colonel Perkins currently lives in Lorton with his wife Petra.
