Virginia Police Benevolent Association Endorses Chris Perkins (R-VA) for Congress, 11th District, Virginia

Lorton, VA – Today Colonel Chris Perkins, the Republican nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 11th district, received the endorsement of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association (VPBA).

The VPBA is the state division of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association (SSPBA), a non-profit, non-union organization providing legal, disciplinary and other representation to police officers who are members.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association,” Colonel Chris Perkins commented. “As a retired military officer, I know first-hand the importance of our law enforcement officials in protecting us day in and day out.”

“During his 24-year career in the U.S. Army Colonel Perkins has proven that he values the safety of Americans both home and abroad, much like we do here at the VPBA,” stated Joe Woloszyn, President of the Virginia Division of the SSPBA. “We are throwing our full backing behind the Colonel because we strongly believe that he will fight to ensure that our police officers receive all of the support they need to protect us nationwide.”

Chris Perkins is a small businessman, retired U.S. Army Colonel and a former Green Beret. While in the Army, Colonel Perkins commanded troops on missions in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Colonel Perkins has also served as a military liaison to Congress and consultant to the U.S. Coast Guard. Colonel Perkins currently lives in Lorton with his wife Petra.
