PWC Supervisors vote to support Commonwealth constitutional amendment to restrict Eminent Domain
InsideNova – Prince William supervisors endorsed via a vote of the Supervisors to support limiting eminent domain, a resolution introduced by Prince William Chairman Corey Stewart. The PWC Supervisors resolution supports a Virginia constitutional amendment to limit eminent domain and will be on the Nov 7 ballot for ratification by voters. Eminent Domain is when the government takes private property from one owner and gives it to another or puts the property to public use.
